J. Lynn Services is a professional bookkeeping company based in Ellis County, Texas but since we are virtual, cloud-based we have clients all over the country. Our client base ranges from startups to companies that have been in business for 25+ years. We started in 1994 and have grown into a full service bookkeeping and payroll firm. We are able to work in a variety of accounting software. Out staff are both QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor's.

During your initial consultation we will take the time to understand your needs and the struggles that you are having. If you have already started working on your books we can go over them with you and suggest changes or perform a cleanup service if your books have been neglected for a few months... or years. If you are starting a new company we can build your file from the beginning. Once you are up and running we can provide a variety of reports monthly depending on what you need. We will also set up quarterly or monthly meetings with you via Zoom or Google Meets to discuss any issues or concerns that you may have during that time

​I am a full-service bookkeeper with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree specializing in small/medium business finances including full service bookkeeping and payroll services. I offer a full range of services from QuickBooks setup and consulting to acting as a full service bookkeeping department. It is my goal to work with my clients to create a unique, ideal plan for their specific situation, budget, and needs, allowing them to grow their business while maximizing profits and minimizing tax liability.

I started out in 1995 at a court reporting firm as a simple office manager/ bookkeeper trying to make billing and collections more efficient. From there, I moved on to providing bookkeeping and tax services to small e-commerce companies back when the internet was just getting started. Since then, I have served retail stores, medical practices, advertising agencies, small distributors, non-profits, and professional services companies. I am well versed in the upkeep and filing of income taxes, payroll taxes, sales taxes, franchise taxes, and 1099 filings for contractors.

I have been working with various versions of QuickBooks Desktop for over 25 years and QuickBooks Online for the past 10 years. I have QuickBooks ProAdvisor certifications in desktop and online versions.
